Angeline Bracewell, of Austin, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the St. Mark’s Lutheran Home of Austin. She was 94 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Akkerman Ingebrand Chapel with Rev. Bob Bohachek officiating.
VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the serivce.
INTERMENT will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.
Angeline Ramona Bracewell was born on September 17, 1917 to parents Hjalmer and Edith (Wahlstrom) Bolin in Ogilvie, Minnesota. She was raised on the family farm in Ogilvie. On August 4, 1937, she was united in marriage to Kenith R. Bracewell in St. Paul, Minnesota. Together they had two daughters, Sandra and Pamela.
Angeline worked at the former Colony Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis for over twenty years. She was always known to have a cheerful outlook and sunny smile.
Angeline is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenith, daughter Pamela, and brothers Mike, Jerry, and Jim Bolin.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Marvin) Christensen of Austin; sisters Carol (Dan) Jones of Duluth, June (Jack) Sorenson of St. Michael; and Judy Potter of Edina; sister-in-law Eva Bolin of Edina; grandchildren Karen (Mark) Sammons, Sharon Christensen, Ken Christensen, Troy (Jacque) Christensen, Janet (Chad) Nelson, and Eric Christensen; 14 great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
