Jim Bollin, of Isanti, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home. He was 39 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham with Chaplin Dwight Petersen officiating
VISITATION will be held from 11:00am – 12:30pm at the Funeral Home.
INTERMENT will be at the Royalton Memorial Cemetery immediately following the service.
James John Bollin Sr., was born on September 1, 1972 in Cambridge, Minnesota to John and Carole (Westerlund) Bollin. Jim passed away in his home on January 16, 2012 surrounded by family, following a difficult battle with neurofibromatosis type 2.
Jim attended school in Cambridge-Isanti. He enjoyed working with cars. He worked in two salvage yards in St. Francis, Minnesota. Jim also worked at U-Haul where he became a detail specialist. Then he worked for Koppy Motors of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
Jim will be greatly missed for his sense of humor which was always present, even when facing the most difficult times. When Jim laughed, others relaxed. He gave everyone around him life.
Jim is survived in death by his wife Mary (Sowers) Bollin of Ogilvie; son James Bollin Jr. of Ogilvie; cousin Nick Jellison; mother Carole (Jim) Markson of North Branch; siblings John Jr. of Forest Lake, Mike of Isanti, Eric (Danielle) of Tennessee, Chad (Shannon) Markson of Braham; nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his father John Steve Bollin Sr.; sister Tonya Jean Bollin; grandparents, an aunt and uncle.
Jim is always protecting and shielding all of us now and in our times of need.
A Funeral Service was held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham with Chaplin Dwight Petersen officiating. Casket Bearers were James Bollin Jr., Nicholas Jellison, John Bollin Jr., Michael Bollin, Chad Markson, Chris Bollin, Joseph Bollin Jr., and Gary Jellison. Honorary Casket Bearers were Nathan Bollin, Steven Bollin, Todd Spike, Butch Westerlund, Adam Westerlund, Troy Bollin, Billy Grant, and Terry Bollin.
