JIMMY RAY SODERQUIST

Jimmy Soderquist, of Brunswick, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.  He was 47 years old.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham with Rev. Randy Westerberg officiating.

MEMORIAL VISITATION  will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at noon.

Jimmy Ray Soderquist, of Mora, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.  He was 47 years old.

Jimmy was born on June 4, 1964 to parents Reynold and Diane (Sickler) Soderquist in Cambridge, Minnesota.  Jimmy attended school in Mora.  As a young man, Jimmy worked for an insulating company and also worked for a local farmer driving tractor and farm truck. Jimmy’s most recent job was working as a tow truck driver for Kopp’s Towing Company in Stanchfield.

Jimmy loved visiting and hanging out with his friends and family. Jimmy was a member of the Braham Moose Lodge.   He enjoyed fixing and riding four-wheelers and motorcycles.   Jimmy adored animals, especially playing with the family cat.  Most of all he loved his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father Reynold Soderquist

He is survived by his mother Diane of Mora, brother Harold of Mora, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

  1. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Harold and to Mrs. Soderquist. The loss of your brother and son, especially at a young age, is a very difficult loss. Jimmy was quite a guy! Always smiling, always friendly and always interested in how things were going at the farm – right up until the end. He will be missed!
