Janice Vidor, of Braham, died at GracePointe Crossing East of Cambridge, on Friday, October 7, 2011. She was 76 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Braham with Father Zimmer and Deacon Pinataro officiating.
VISITATION will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 5-7PM at the Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham.
INTERMENT will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery of Braham following the service.
Janice L. Vidor of Braham passed away on October 7, 2011 at Grace Point Crossing Gables East surrounded by her family. She was 76 years old.
Janice was born to Tom and Lillian (Lehman) LeTourneau on October 12, 1934. She was raised in Greany, MN and graduated from Orr High School. She worked as a nurse at the Cook Hospital. While working in Cook she met Mark Vidor. They were married June 11, 1955. To this union four children were born. They made their home in Cook until moving to Braham in 1958. Janice worked various jobs in the local area while raising her family. Over the years she and Mark enjoyed motorcycling, boating and camping. She especially loved her years at Camperville.
Janice will be remembered as a good neighbor, always helping others. Her time spent volunteering at Tusen Tack in its beginnings was special to her.
Her last years at Grace Point were good ones. She made many friends and was well taken care of by the staff. Her family really appreciated the loving care.
Janice is survived by her daughter Vicki and husband Dennis Olson of Braham, three sons, Mitchell and wife Gini of Braham, Luke and wife Robyn of Dayton and Tim and wife Heidi of Cambridge; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers Tom (Karen) LeTourneau, Roger (Evelyn) LeTourneau and brother-in-law Mikel Vidor; four sisters Bernice Quinn, Jeanne Gunderson, Mildred Merritt, Rochelle (Mark Ladwig) LeTourneau and sisters-in-law Mary (Ferdous Amad) Vidor and Stefanie (Jack) Porter; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mark, her parents and two sisters, Lucille and Dolly.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Braham with Deacon Tom Pinataro and Farther Nicholas Zimmer officiating. A time of visitation and reviewal will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Music will be provided by Marie Grundberg. Casket Bearers are Kelli Olson, Katie Olson, Erin Peterson, Jamie Vidor, Josh Vidor, Derek Vidor, Tyler Vidor, Cory Vidor, and Jessica Vidor. Honorary Casket Bearers are Josh Long, Anna Long, and Emily Long. Interment will be in the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery of Braham. Arrangements are by the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham
