Virginia and Hector enjoyed traveling around the United States and Canada and spent a month long trip to Alaska in 1979.  In later years they attended several Elder Hostels.  She was an excellent seamstress, baker and had beautiful vegetable and flower gardens.

In 2005 Hector and Virginia moved to Duluth to be closer to their daughter.  Virginia was always there for her family, and was a wonderful sister, wife, mother and grandmother.  She touched the lives of many and will always be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Richard; husband Hector; son-in-law Michael Connolly.

  1. Dear Mary,
My Deepest Sympathy on the loss of your dear Mother. Her grace, dignity, and wisdom added so much to my working days at Primrose and I’ve missed her so.
    Sincerely, (nurse) Judy

  2. I was sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. I was Virgina’s eye doctor, and I enjoyed getting to visit with her when she would come in for her checks. She was a very nice lady. Kayla Bechthold

  3. I worked at Primrose Assisted Living and took care of Virginia and her husband Hector. I loved coming into their room and visiting with them. I felt my relationship with them was as theraputic and kind to them as it was to me. I truly loved Virginia and her family and I was blessed to know them. I am happy to know that she is with her husband.
