FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brunswick with Rev. Lori Blake officiating.

VISITATION will be from 5 to 7 P.M. on Friday April 1, at Akkerman – Ingebrand Chapel, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

INTERMENT will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

MEMORIALS ARE PREFERRED to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brunswick.

Phyllis Arlene (Hoefert) Peysar passed away on Tuesday, March 29th at Villa Health Care Center in Mora, MN. Phyllis was born on May 26th, 1938 in Worthington, Mn. She was 72 years of age at her time of death. Phyllis was the daughter of Ernest and Elsie (Habeck) Hoefert. In 1947 Phyllis’s family moved to Isle, MN where she attended and graduated from Isle High School in 1957. She was confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Isle, MN.

Phyllis met Roger Peysar in 1960 and they were married on September 16th, 1961. They made their home in Maple Grove, MN. This is where their three sons were born, Bryan, Scott, and Terry. In June of 1980 the family moved to the Mora area.

Phyllis was a waitress her whole life. She enjoyed visiting and serving people. She was active in her Homemakers Group, the Ladies Aid of Brunswick Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a member of the Braham Moose Lodge. She volunteered at Braham School as a classroom grandma as well as at the Villa Health Care Center.

Phyllis enjoyed hobbies including: embroidery, camping, gardening, playing bingo, and word finds. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Elsie Hoefert.

Phyllis is survived by Roger (husband of 49 years) of Mora; sons Bryan (Wendi) of Mora, Scott of Mora, and Terry of Milaca; granddaughters Jessica (Aaron) Patterson of Mora, Bryana Peysar (fianc James Johnson) of Rochester, Emily Peysar (friend Jonny Funk) of St Cloud, and Kaylin Peysar of Mora; Great Grandson Maxwell Patterson of Mora; brother Robert (Marcella) Hoefert of Isle, Mn; as well as nephews, niece, cousins, relatives, friends, and the Class of 1957 from Isle, MN.

Phyllis was a loving wife and mother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
