M. Anderson webphotoMark Robert Anderson of Braham, died on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center in Minnesota. He was 40 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at Stanchfield Baptist Church.

VISITATION will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Mark Robert Anderson, son of Paul Anderson and Kathi Peppers, was born on May 18, 1970, at the Braham Hospital. Mark grew up in Braham before moving to Oregon and later Alaska.

He was united in marriage to Lora Hermanson on August 13, 2005 at Stanchfield Baptist Church. They made their home in the Braham area ever since. On February 28, 2008 their daughter Emma Rose-Ann was born. Emma was the pride and joy of her father.

Mark passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2010 at the age of 40 years, 3 months, and 3 days.

He is survived by his wife Lora and daughter Emma of Braham, son Mark R. Anderson of Alaska, father Paul Anderson of Braham, mother Kathi Peppers of Eagle River, Alaska, brother Dan (Ann) Anderson of Eagle River, Alaska, sister Shelly (Jim) Carruba of Chugiak, Alaska. Mark is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, and brother-in-law Mike Hermanson.

Mark went through many trials in life. He committed his life to Jesus Christ and straightened out his life. He was baptized as an adult on Good Friday, 2008. Mark regularly attended Stanchfield Baptist Church and was dedicated to helping the church with Bible School, regular Sunday Worship and many other areas.

A Funeral service was held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Stanchfield Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Cope and Rev. Paul Reynolds presiding. Casket bearers were Jesse Larson, Tyler Hermanson, Dan Anderson, Luke Weinhold, Kenny Hermanson Jr., and Paul Anderson. Music was provided by the Stanchfield Baptist Praise Team. Arrangements were with the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham.


  1. We were saddened to learn of the passing of Mark. My dad, Paul was Uncle Paul. I have many fond memories of babysitting Mark and of his family. Although I know he has left this earth, I am glad he had faith and love in God, and that he had a loving family. Love, the Swansons
