L. Caron webphotoLaurence Caron, of Braham, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Minneapolis Veteran’s Hospital. He was 80 years old.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral home of Braham with Pastor Bob Bohachek presiding.

There will be no visitation prior to the serivce

Laurence L. Caron of Braham, Minnesota passed away on January 31, 2010 at the Minneapolis Veteran’s Administration Hospital after a long illness. He was 80 years old.

Larry was born on July 10, 1929 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Ephrem and Magdalena (Pesall) Caron. Laurence was the youngest of eight children.

He served in the United States Army from 1949 to1952 where he was a powerhouse engineer in Africa. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant.

He married Frances Claire Berlinquette in 1958. Larry and Francis owned and operated Larry’s Pure Oil Station in South Minneapolis before moving to East Bethel and then Braham.

They have three children: Michele, Valerie and Larry (Jana) Caron. He has five grandchildren. Laurence was a lifetime member of the Beroun American Legion and the Rush City VFW. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Bohachek officiating. Music was provided by Kitty Haley. Military Honors were provided by the Braham VFW Post #1731.
