In his words, “If you couldn’t make enough money working, you might as well be fishing.” He spent many hours a day in his workshop making beautiful wooden crafts. He was very generous with these crafts, donating them to many charities and benefits. His generosity was more than crafts, it included many hours of his time and talents. John was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of John’s life. His family and friends will miss his sense of humor and never-ending practical jokes. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
