d-dale-web.jpgDiane Dorothy Dale of Mora died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Kanabec Hospital. She was 61 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 26th at Grace Lutheran Church in Mora.

VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

INTERMENT will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora.

Diane Dorothy (Fore) Dale was born June 10, 1948 at the Kanabec Hospital to Vernon and Dorothy (Hooker) Fore. She grew up in Brook Park, Minnesota and attended school in Brook Park and graduated from Pine City High School. She attended the Brook Park Methodist Church and was confirmed there. During her school years she worked answering phones at Carley’s home in Brook Park. She met and married Richard Dale on July 11, 1970 at the Mora United Methodist Church. They made their home around the Mora area. Diane worked as a teller at Peoples National Bank, did babysitting in her home, worked at Mora Plumbing and Heating, and also at the Villa Health Care Center in Mora, but because of health reasons she had to quit working. Diane had a kind heart and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rich; mother Dorothy Fore; brother Donald Fore; niece Julie Fore; and nephew Michael Fore.

She is survived by her father Vernon Fore of Mora; sister-in-law Barb Fore of Motley; brothers Kenneth (Mary Jane) Fore of Mora, Curtis (Gloria) Fore of Mora, Raymond (Bev) Fore of Mora, Tom (Sharon) Fore of Brook Park, Dale (Deb) Fore of Pine City; sisters Shirley (Dean) Martfeld of Brook Park, and Carol (Loren) Davis of Mora; plus many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 26th at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Douglas Larson and Rev. Brenda Wicklund presiding. Pallbearers were Shane Davis, Brad Davis, Todd Fore, Steve Fore, Kevin Rothbauer and Mark Rothbauer. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Mora

  2. we have knowed each other since we were little, thru good times and bad times> be happy now in heaven with your beloved crazy guy Rich. we will all miss you!!

  3. I was sad to see Diane had died in the paper as we have been gone on vacation. She was a very dear lady that babysat our daughter and thought the world of her. Dale and her would spoil and love her as if she was their own. Thank you Diane for everything you did!!
