Carl G. Erbstoesser, of Braham, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at University of Minnesota Hospital. He was 66 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICE 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Braham Evangelical Covenant Church with Rev Steve Jennisch officiating.
VISITATION 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
INTERMENT Rice Lake Cemetery, Braham, MN.
Carl Gunther Erbstoesser, of Braham, Minnesota, passed away on May 23, 2009 at the University of Minnesota Hospital. He was 66 years old.
Carl was born on June 2, 1942 in Braham to Frank and Dagmar (Wallinder) Erbstoesser. He grew up on the family farm. Carl was the second of three siblings. He attended school in Braham graduating in 1961. Carl had two sons and he lived in Braham most of his life. He had his own tax service for many years up until 2009. He also served at the treasurer for Braham Covenant Church for quite some time.
Carl liked to deer hunt and spend lots of time with his grandkids. Carl was a wonderful father, brother and grandfather. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank W. Erbstoesser and Dagmar A. Erbstoesser; brother-in-law Emil C. Gillert.
Carl is survived by his children Christopher Erbstoesser of Braham and Wesley (Teresa) Erbstoesser of Braham; grandchildren: Kayla, Logan, Briana, Ashley, Zacharia and Desarae; sister Genevieve Gillert (Lonnie Todd) of Sarona, WI; brother Arnold (Janice) Erbstoesser of Isle; niece and nephews Deborah Meier (Tony Kornfeind) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Richard Gillert (Jean Laging) of Minneapolis and James Gillert and his son David Gillert of Ellsworth, WI; other relatives and many friends.
