FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8 at Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Home in Braham. VISITATION will be 1 hr. prior to the service on Wednesday. INTERMENT will be at Royalton Memorial Cemetery.

Mildred Christine Clark, of Braham, passed away on April 5, 2009 at her home. She was 95 years old.

Millie was born on January 19, 1914 at home in Royalton Township in Pine County, Minnesota to parents John and Selina (Oquist) Hultman. She grew up on the family farm, the eldest of five siblings. Mildred attended country school and later Braham High School, graduating in 1932. After high school, Millie attended and graduated from Minneapolis Business School. Millie worked in a defense plant during WWII and later was employed in retail sales.

On July 25, 1942 Millie was united in marriage to Christopher Clark in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After Chris returned from the service they lived in Minneapolis for a short time. From 1955 to 1975 they operated Clark’s Sandpoint Lodge on Sandpoint Lake near Crane Lake, MN. They retired in 1974.

Millie was actively involved in her communities of Cook, Crane Lake, Orr, North Branch, and Braham. She was always willing to help a good cause. In 1996 she was elected as the Chisago County Senior Citizen of the Year. Miller was a wonderful wife, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents John and Selina Hultman, husband Chris, sister Frances Muckenhirn, three brothers Raymond Hultman, Kenneth Hultman, and Gordon Hultman, and one nephew Dale Hultman.

She is survived by sister-in-law Eva Jane Hultman; nephews and nieces Jim (Corky) Muckenhirn of Burnsville, John (Carol) Hultman of Ham Lake, Ron (Maribeth) Hultman of Shoreview, Dave (Clara Mata) Hultman of Lindstrom, Barb (Blaine) Erickson of Stillwater, Rick (Mary) Hultman of Braham, Sue (Craig) Sandstrom of Stanchfield, Deb Hultman of Sandstone, George (Mary) Hultman of North St. Paul, and Judy Hultman of Cedar; many great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham with Rev .Steve Anderson presiding. Music was provided by Carol Schmakel. Casket bearers were Dave Hultman, Rick Hultman, Craig Sandstrom, George Hultman, Steve Muckenhirn, and Jim Huckenhirn. Interment was in the Royalton Memorial Cemetery.
