  1. I worked with Howard at the Mora WorkForce Center before the state removed Job Service employees from the worksite.

We used to take breaks at the resturants downton in the mornings, and Howard was one of the gang. Enjoyed his company and stories. He will be missed. I can always tell people that I once knew the man who lived in the coldest spot in Kanabec County.

  2. I had the enjoyment of working with Howard and Kurt at the “Station” in Mora during my high school years. You couldn’t ask for a better Boss. I learned alot while working there and have often reflected on the times watching Howard trying to get his Old’s 98 tuned just right. Howard always made you feel part of the family and cared about everyone. He will missed by all. Thankyou for imparting your knowledge and wisdom to this young man trying to find his way in life. Sincerely, Kim Holznagel
