THERESA EDITH BOBO

t-bobo-web-photo.jpgTheresa Bobo, of Braham, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. She was 57 years old.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 11 AM, at the Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Rich Chronis officating. VISITATION from 5-7 pm on Friday, October 24th at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham.

Theresa (Terrie) Edith Bobo of Braham, MN passed away on October 21, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at age 57.

Terrie was born on September 2, 1951 at the Braham Community Hospital to Arthur and Martha (Forslin) Onasch. She has four brothers and four sisters, one of which she shared a special bond as a twin. Terrie grew up in Brook Park, MN, attended country school, was baptized, and confirmed there. Terrie has two children, Craig, who lives in Braham and Lisa, who lives in Grasston.

Terrie was employed at the Bethany Home in Braham for nearly five years, Dahlman Manufacturing for eight years, and Premier Products for ten years. Terrie earned a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, of which she took great pride, and worked at the Cambridge Health Care Center.

Terrie was united in marriage to Michael Bobo on December 28, 1996. Terrie volunteered time at Tusen Tack in Braham, and at the Cambridge Medical Center. It made Terrie very happy when helping others.

Her love for her children and grandchildren always came first. Terrie loved fishing. She especially enjoyed the many annual family trips to Canada, and Cass Lake. Terrie enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and home cooking for her loved ones. She had much compassion and always put others first. She was a loving person to all, a wonderful, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She always had a big smile and hug for everyone.

Terrie is survived by her husband Mike of Braham, son Craig Gutzkow of Braham, daughter Lisa (Dennis) Hill of Grasston, step-children David Bobo and Shawna Bobo both of Prior Lake; brothers Art Jr. (Marilyn) Onasch of North Branch; Hardy (Sandy) Onasch of Henreitte; Daryl (Debbie) Onasch of Mora;
sisters Lola Crawford (Ron Peterson) of Bradford; Darlyn (Vincent) Glidden of Braham; and Yvonne (Jim) Lee of Braham; 11 grandchildren, mother-in-law Stella Bobo of Braham, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Sheldon Onasch.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Chronis officiating. Music was provided by organist Ruth Grundyson and vocalists Marie Grundberg and Doc Thornson. Honorary pallbearers were Shane Lee, Sonny Lee, Ashley Gutzkow, Jim Onasch, Dan Onasch, Lige Crawford, Brett Bobo, Charlie Blackbird and Lorelei Cielinski.

    There are some people you meet and they just seem to have a “light” about them…and Terri was that kind of person; from her sparkly blue eyes to her sweet smile – when you’d run into her you could tell she was genuinely happy to see you! Heaven seems to be shining a little brighter now.

    WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, THERESA ALWAYS WAS HAPPY TO TAKE THE TIME TO STOP AND TALK WITH YOU AND LEAVE YOU WITH A SMILE AND THE JOY THAT YOU KNEW HER. THERESA WILL BE WELL MISSED, I WILL LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HER AGAIN ONE DAY.

    So Sorry for your loss. I work at Anderson Drug and it was always a pleasure to help Theresa. She was such a sweet & kind person, always had a smile on her face and we all knew her by name. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers our with your family
