Charlotte Maland, age 82, died on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Mpls.
FUNERAL SERVICES willl be held 11am, Tuesday, June 24 at Open Arms Church of God in Grasston. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior.
Charlotte Lorraine Maland was born on May 23, 1926 to Warren Herbert and Ethel Justine (Graves) Austin in Superior, Wisconsin.
She is survived by daughter CherlyAnn (Dennis) Klapmeier of Mora and Lind Fouts of Spicer; granddaughters Cathy Clark and son Todd of Forest Lake, Kimberly (Darin) Freetly and children Kaitlyn, Hannah and Braden of Pine City, and Andrea (Andrew) Fix and daughters Alexis, Alana and Allison of Braham; one brother Stewart (Corrine) Austin of Columbia Heights.
Charlotte was preceded in death by husband Charles H. Maland; parents; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Charlotte enjoyed being with family, rummage sale shopping, and she was an avid reader and doing crossword puzzles.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 24th at Open Arms Church of God in Grasston. Pastor Mike Flynn officiated. Music was provided by Colleen Austin and Chris and Marianne Santele. Pallbearers were Darin Freetly, Andrew Fix, Todd Clark, Kaitlyn Nosbush, Buster Austin and Lonnie Austin. Final disposition was by cremation.
