Laurie Palmer, of Stanchfield, MN, died on Monday, June 16, 2008. She was 49 years old.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at noon on Sunday, June 22 at Oak Hill Church in Columbia Heights. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 28 at Laurie’s home in Stanchfield.

Laurie Palmer was born January 1st, 1959 to be a child of God and lived a life filled with smiles and love. She has left this world to start her next life in heaven forever and for always – as she waits for those she loves to join her. “Thanks for sharing my journey everyone. Don’t forget to share your smiles with everyone you meet.”
Laurie is survived by her loving husband James Palmer of Braham, son Nick Blaise and companion Kerry Pinat of Fridley, daughter Amanda Blaise and companion Brandon Woods of Fridley, step-son Jimmie Palmer of Braham, brother Lance Bebensee and wife Carol of Brook Park, sisters Lisa and husband Randy Thompson of Grasston, Lana and husband David Sordelet of Mora, and LaVonne Malecek or Braham, one granddaughter Kaydance and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Oak Hill Baptist Church, 4141 University Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421; Phone: 763-789-4337
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Jim and Laurie’s Home.

    Sending you our deepest sympathies along with many prayers. I do not like the reason our lifes crossed but glad that they did. She really had a love for people and a joy that spread where ever she went.

  3. I am so saddened to learn of Laurie’s death. She and I worked together, downtown Minneapolis at Old Republic Title in 1993. We were partners in crime. My heart goes out to her family. She was a Dear Heart. God Bless! ox
