Lillian L. Nichols of Braham, MN died March 11, 2008 at the Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge. She was 87 years old.
Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held at 11 AM, FRIDAY, March 14, 2008 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Braham. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
Lillian L. Nichols passed away March 11, 2008 at the age of 87 years.
Lillian was born September 5, 1920 to Edward and Mary Jozen in Minneapolis Minnesota. She had one sister, Eileen; and two brothers, Edward and Casimere. Lillian grew up in Minneapolis, attending school there until the 11th grade. She later met and married Leslie R. Nichols on March 7, 1940. They lived in Minneapolis for the first few years of their married lives. Their next move was to Mora and then to a small farm near Braham. They lived on the farm until Les passed away on March 26, 1993. Lillian then moved into Park Manor where she lived until late November of 2005. With her declining health, Lillian moved into Grandview Christian Home where she resided until the time of her death.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Leslie; her son Stanley “Nick”; and grandson Tim John.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Joanne Nichols of Page, AZ; son, Jack Nichols and special friend Carrie Baasi of Iron Mountain, MN; daughters, Mary and husband Max Erbstoesser of Braham, MN, and Carol and husband Walter Nelson also of Braham, MN; grandchildren, Shawn Nichols and wife Lindsay, Jason Nichols, Terry Erbstoesser and wife Rebecca, Chris Nelson and wife Laura, Amy Jones and husband Jeffery; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Eileen Nichols of Hibbing, MN; 2 sisters-in-law, Winnifred Nichols of Princeton, MN and Laura Daley of Grand Rapids, MN; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
