Kim Arthur Dunn, of Mora, MN, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Mpls. He was 56 years old.
MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 15th at Akkerman-Ingebrand Chapel in Mora. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Kim Arthur Dunn was born November 12, 1951 in Hubbard County, Park Rapids, MN to John M. and Winnie Fay (Henry) Dunn. He grew up on Fish Hook Lake and was the fifth of six siblings. Eventually the family moved to south Minneapolis where they established roots. Kim attended and was confirmed at Minnehaha Methodist Church. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1970 and was honorably discharged. Kim attended Minneapolis Community College for 4 years and became Executive Director of Prodigal House in Minneapolis.
He was an avid fisherman; loved sports; loved music and quality time with family, friends and all who were welcome. “Sing, Laugh, Love, Live” was Kim’s motto.
Kim was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Michelle and brother Gerald.
He is survived by his wife Deborah; sons Cullen Dunn and T.J. Dady; daughters Rachel Dunn and Rachel Dady; sister Patricia Espinoza; brothers Charles and James Dunn; plus many other relatives, friends, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home with Rita Clasemann officiating. The Mora American Post 201 will provide military honors. Final disposition by cremation.
