FUNERAL SERVICE at 11 am on Wed. October 24, 2007 at Cambridge Lutheran Church (621 Old Main St. N.) VISITATION Tues. Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 pm at Rock – Ingebrand Funeral Home, Braham. and 1 hr prior to the service at the church on Wed.

Myrtle Alice Leaf, 95, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge.

Myrtle Leaf was born on April 13, 1912 at Stanchfield Township to Eric and Amy (Larson) Edwall. She attended Stanchfield School through eighth grade. In 1946, she married Eric A. Leaf at Cambridge. They made their home and raised their two sons in Grandy, MN. During various times in her life, she worked as a home maker, telephone operator, and as a waitress in Grandy. Myrtle enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers, canning, cooking and sewing. She was always knitting, crocheting, or embroidering something for someone. She also enjoyed bowling with the Senior Citizens. She was a member of Cambridge Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Grandy Good Cheer Guild for many years and enjoyed visiting friends in the nursing homes. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends and going out to eat at the Old Country Buffet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Archie and one sister Verna, and her husband Eric. Myrtle is survived by her sons, Kent(Patricia) Leaf of New Richmond, WI and Dean(Cheryl) Leaf of Prior Lake, MN, five grandchildren; Annette Leaf, Ryan(Sarah) Leaf, and Chad Leaf, Becky(Steven) Levenhagen, and Peter Leaf and one great granddaughter Rachel Levenhagen, and one niece Dorothy(Tom) Gnifkowski. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

    Enjoyed Myrtle so with visits and converstion, she knew about so many things and we will miss that but know she is with the Lord and at peace..
