Milton A. Dahlin died Sunday, October 14th, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Rush City. He was 87 years old.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, SATURDAY, October 20th, 2007 at Rush Point Calvary Lutheran Church with visitation 1 hour prior at church.
Milton Alfred Dahlin, born, May 15, 1920, passed away on Sunday October 14, 2008. Born in Grandy, Minnesota to Alfred and Esther Dahlin, a first generation American, Milton claimed Rush Point, Minnesota as his life long home. He was married to the neighbor girl, Arlene Carlson on May 16, 1953. After selling his farm, Milton eventually retired from Cambridge State Hospital in 1985. He and completed his years hobby farming in Rush Point, fishing for walleyes on Mille Lacs Lake, and caring for his family. After Arlene’s passing on November 16, 1997, Milton eventually moved to Riverwood in Cambridge Minnesota, and most recently was a resident of Golden Living Center in Rush City, Minnesota.
Always in charge, Milton is dearly missed by his son Kurt (Cindy) Dahlin of Pine City, MN., daughter Nancy (Alan) Dahlin -Teich of Pine City, MN. Granddaughter Natalie Mold, Grandson Kyle (Alysha) Mold and great grandson Landon Mold, of Rush City, Minnesota. Sister Helen Huddleston of Marshalls Creek, PA., sister in law Jean Carlson, and brother in law Dean Carlson, nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by wife Arlene, twin sister Mildred, brothers Gunnard, and Alvin Dahlin, and sister Peggy Andrews.
