Kenneth Reed died at his home in rural Mora on July 9, 2007. He was 61 years old
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Thursday, July 12th at 5:00 P.M. at Akkerman-Ingebrand Chapel in Mora. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service from 4:00-5:00 P.M.
Kenny was born January 30th 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A graduate of Patrick Henry High School and was an Engineman (Oiler) in the Naval Reserve. After which he entered into the Tile trade as a helper and worked his way up to be a Journeyman Tile setter.
Things that made Kenny happy was outdoor activities which included fishing and camping. He was seen around the RV park riding his golf cart with his faithful dog at his side. He always lent a helping hand to everyone he met. He was known for having a smile on his face, a wise crack to make you laugh, and a passion for life.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Reed and sister Cindy Reed.
Survived by daughter Julie (Troy) Skogen, son Kevin Reed, mother Agnes (Tony) Yurkew, sister Robyn Reed, grandson Ethan Skogen along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
