Marion Radil died on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at her home in Quamba, Minnesota. She was 66 years old.

Marion Elva Radil (Punky) was born on May 1, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Marion (Kemp) Markuson. She grew up in Minneapolis and worked in nursing homes for 25 years. Punky moved to the Mora area in 1993 and worked for Grand Casino Hinckley as lead housekeeper.
Everyone she met became a friend and she took them under her wing, and tried to help with advice and just being there to listen. She will be sadly missed and not forgotten.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Carl (Butch) Markuson.
She is survived by son John Stately (Joette Veranth) of Quamba; daughter Shari Baxter of Eden Prairie; two grandchildren Marisa and Justin; four great-grandchildren; sister Carole Gettleman of Navato,CA; brothers James Markuson of Palm Desert CA, Richard Markuson of London, OH, and sister-in-law Bonnie Durante of Pine City. Marion is also survived by very special friends Mike and Helen Leider, John and Dianne Minelli, Kathy and John Bastian, Denise Hayes of Georgia, plus Scott and Georgia Prebeck, Risa and Danielle Bastian and Marion’s God-daughter Kellie Bastian; along with many other relatives and loved ones.
