Dale Martin Carlson, Sr., of Mora, MN died on April 30, 2007 at his home. He was 56 years old.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 11:00 A.M. at Akkerman-Ingebrand Chapel in Mora. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday (9:00 – 11:00 A.M.).
Dale was born on December 6, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Martin and Arlene (Swanson) Carlson. Dale served in the United States Marine Corps and fought in Vietnam. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service as an operations manager.
He was a great man who is loved and will be missed by many people. Dale loved to ride his Harley. To call him a biker is an understatement. He went on countless benefit rides for children and people with cancer. Dale also loved animals. He took pride in his dog Nanuk. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. His love for his children and grandson could be seen in the tattoo of their names on his arm.
Dale is survived by his children Michelle Carlson and Dale Carlson Jr.; grandson Aiden Carlson; brother John Carlson and wife Sherril; sister Karen Carlson; and one nephew Jerry Carlson. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Terry.
