Katy Tester – Funeral Director
Katy Tester, a Pine City native, is the daughter of Lee and Bev Raudabaugh of Pine City and Robin Raudabaugh of Harris. Katy graduated from Pine City High School in 1999. After high school she attended Hamline University and graduated with degrees in Criminal Justice, Anthropology, and Forensic Science. In the fall of 2005 she began classes in Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota and graduated at the top of her class in August of 2006.

Katy is currently a resident of Braham. In her free time, Katy enjoys reading, watching movies, playing cards, stamping, spending time with her family and friends, and working outside.

Tamara Voss – Intern Funeral Director

Kathy Menze joined our staff as office manager in 2001. She is the helpful voice you will hear when calling the Mora office and is probably the first person you will see upon arriving at the funeral home in Mora. She is very knowledgeable and caring. Kathy and her husband, Larry, have lived in Mora for many years and have been very involved in the life of the community. They have two grown children and enjoy being grandparents. We are very fortunate to have her on staff.

Robbie Smith – Pre-Planning Consultant, Funeral Director. Robbie has been a licensed funeral director for over 20 years. He graduated form the University of MN School of Mortuary Science in 1987 and worked at Evans Nordby Funeral Home in Minneapolis. He was a representative for a casket manufacturer for 8 years. He has also been a licensed insurance agent in MN for 6 years. Currently, Robbie works with our firm helping families pre-plan and pre-pay their funeral or cremation services and leads the pre-planning seminars we offer at the funeral home each summer. He brings many years of experience and has helped hundreds of families through the pre-planning process.  You may also meet Robbie in his role as funeral director when he provides licensed coverage while Mike is away. We have known Robbie for more than 16 years and are very fortunate to have him as part of our staff.

Joni Mankie joined our staff in June 2008. She works in the Braham office several days a week and also works at funeral services as needed. Joni, a lifelong Braham resident, worked for several years in health care then began working full time in the funeral home in 2000. Joni and her husband, Jay owned the funeral home in Braham from 1997 to 2007, so she is very knowledgable about funeral service and about the Braham area. We are very happy to have her as a part of our staff. Jay and Joni have four children and live in the Braham area.
