I am truly sorry for your loss. Mike and I were married for a very short time, in '73. I have many fond memories of the time we shared with his wonderful children. I have only one regret and that is that I never got to let him know how grateful I am that he was in my life and how sorry I am for how badly I treated him. He knew both my parents went though the issue he was dealing with. While exchanging emotions and the effects of the disease, Mike always had a smile, never anything negative to say. My point of view only is he dealt with the disease courageously and always with a smile! What a positive attitude he had and Mike helped me with issues of coping also. He endured much pain during his illness and I am thankful that he is no longer in pain. I will miss him greatly! He took his chemo with bravery and I will forever be greatful for the great staff @ Cambridge Medical Hospital (Short Stay). His doctor, Dr. Stephen Mann and his staff of wonderful nurses helped dad alot, they were kind and made him smile. My dad was a great man.
