I was saddened to find this notice. I will always remember her wonderful attitute and fight. I cherish the conversations we had, although there were not nearly enough of them because I am a ways away. I am so glad I brought my husband with me last September to visit. Had a wonderful afternoon at the Hersey House. I will miss you, Judy. Hope the family is healing. Take care.

What do you do when you lose someone who was so amazing? I’ll tell you what you do…..You look up to the heavens and know she is watching you and smiling. She was an angel on earth and now she is no longer bound by this body. She sails on clouds and wings of gold, and she watches us all and waits for us to join her in that heavenly plane where she is now an angel again.
We miss you Judy and you are so loved and will never be forgotten.

Sandy and the rest of Judy’s family, I was saddened to hear about your loss. Judy was a kind, wonderful woman. She was one of the first people I met when I opened my little shop in Mora. I have met few people in my life who had the zest for life that she did! She was an easy person to love. She will be missed by our whole community. I’m so glad to have gotten a chance to know her…

Sandy, Suzie, Lee, Marian, Jeanne, and all your families,
Please accept my sincere and deep condolences at the loss of such a wonderful and great lady. Judy was such a big part of our family for so many years. I…as well as my family…have so many wonderful memories of Judy that we shall cherish forever. I will always treasure the wonderful memories of the annual cookie exhange and luncheon that was such a tradition for Judy when she lived in Brooklyn Center. There certainly is no one like Judy and her passing is a great loss to be felt by many. There is now another angel in heaven…just as she was here on earth.

Judy – Just her name brings a smile to your lips at all the wonderful memories.

Judy and I became aquainted while working with the Salvation Army. All though she was a very busy lady, she took time to write letters and encourage us in many ways. Even when her cancer returned, she worked on letters to different groups.

I had the privilege to have coffee with her a few times but most of our meetings were in her office as she was always on the go.

May Jesus be your strength through this difficult time, May He be your guide and bring peace to your heart.

I’m so sad about Judy leaving us. I’m so happy to have had her in my life. She was quite the fighter of this illness for a long time. She’s an inspiration for me as to how to live life fully and joyfully under all circumstances. And I’m grateful that we had the girl cousin’s reunion last fall and we were able to share love and laughter. I cherish the memories of that weekend and all the other times we spent together although there weren’t nearly enough of them since I live so far from family. So I guess I’ll have to remember quality rather than quantity.

Judy was one of the first ladies I met when I moved here and she helped me and shared many important lessons with me. She was a spedial angel in my life. I will keep her there within my heart. I Love you Judy.

Just hearing her name would bring a smile to my face. I’m so so happy I was able to get out there last year. What a great memory. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever had the privelege of knowing. I wish I had even half her strength.She will be missed terribly and forever loved.

Aside from being in the family, Judy and I were e-mail buddies. I spent most of yesterday pouring over the silly and happy e-mails we shared over the years. Her messages of inspiration, joy AND sadness will remain in my “in-box” forever as a rememberance of this wonderful and remarkable soul we called Judy.
