I CAN STILL REMEMBER THOSE TIMES THAT I STAYED OVERNIGHT WITH LOWELL DURING THOSE GRADE SCHOOL YEARS.
ELLEN DID NOT LET US GET AWAY WITH VERY MUCH.
I ALSO REMEMBER THOSE TIMES THAT I VISITED HER IN GRANDVIEW. SHE WAS ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE THAT STILL REMEMBER MY GRANDPARENTS.
WE HAD SOME WONDERFUL VISITS. I HOPE THAT SHE ENJOYED THEM AS MUCH AS I DID.
SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.

Dear Jaques Family,
So sorry to hear of Ellen’s passing. Mom just called me this morning and let me know. We were home for deer hunting on the farm but didn’t get into town to hear the news. Mom will be at the funeral and will also work in the kitchen helping clean up. I am the only one running the office tomorrow so will be unable to attend. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. As a youngster I remember trick or treating in Braham (maybe it should be called “Running amuck!”) Cutting through yards or thru gardens was a given EXCEPT when it came to the Jaques yard. We always went around and never through!!!! I remember the flowers and plants vividly and remember visits discussing birds and looking at pictures. There were always baked treats that were familiar and also ones a little different (doesn’t take much for a chocolate chip cookie girl). I have fond memeories of Ellen as you all do. I will be with you all in spirit. Peace to you all!! Love, Chris and family

Remembering your mother is sweet. May God comfort you all. Russell was so happy to see her at Grandview, but I never did. Thanks for the memories of years gone by.
